With over 15 years experience in the IT consultancy field, particularly training, I bring a relaxed, friendly, informal atmosphere to the training room; greatly appreciated by those with a phobia about IT. Over the years I have trained people from all areas of industry, and all work areas, from the shop floor to the board room. My emphasis is on the practical application of software and my courses can be tailored to specific industry needs.
There is no doubt that well trained employees are not only more efficient, but also enjoy their work more. A large part of keeping a happy working environment is ensuring that employees are not stressed by the need to do work they are not trained for. While training may seem a minor thing compared to the investment costs of an IT system, without it there will be no benefits for the business or the employee.
All my application courses are split over several days, beginning with an introductory course covering what I consider to be the basics required by any business. Later courses cover more advanced topics and can be tailored to provide specific facilities required by each industry area. I have worked in many areas, from Solicitors and Accountants to heavy engineering companies.
